Jelani Aswad is the founder of the AIWR collective and is a multi-discipline artist of Jamaican descent creating music, fashion, and art for the nations. As a native of the Bronx, NY, and growing up for most of his life in Spring Valley, New York, Jelani is now a well-sought-after musician and event curator who sings at churches, conferences, and leadership retreats across the country. Jelani leads a sustainable fair trade Christian art-based clothing brand while creating art-based events for emerging artists and other clothing brands in the Greater Cleveland Area. Jelani received a Bachelor’s in Pastoral Ministry from Nyack College and is an ordained Pastor with the Christian & Missionary Alliance.

Dr. Wanda Walborn

Dr. Wanda Walborn, founder and director of Empower, is an esteemed teacher and author known for her deep spiritual walk and dedication to developing women's gifts and callings. She has a rich background in education, church planting, and spiritual formation. Dr. Walborn obtained a Doctoral degree in Intercultural Studies from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon, and recently completed her 20+ year tenure as an Associate Professor at Alliance Theological Seminary. Wanda resides in New Jersey with her husband, Ron. Ron and Wanda have 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren.

Dr. Ted Kang

Dr. Kang, born in Seoul, Korea, and later moving to Canada, experienced a transformative encounter with Jesus at 14, leading to a life dedicated to ministry and studies, including a B.S. in Biochemistry, an M.Div., and a D.Min. He has been the lead pastor of a multilingual and multicultural church since 2014, serves on the C&MA Board of Directors, and lives in San Jose with his wife Sandy and their four daughters, enjoying outdoor adventures and family activities.

Jamie Norton

Jamie Norton, a licensed counselor with over 35 years of experience, uses her personal journey and professional training to help people find hope and healing. Her wisdom, humor, and faith create a safe environment for addressing issues that hinder relationships with Jesus and others. Jamie earned her Masters in counseling and is licensed as a chemical dependency counselor. Jamie Norton is a TikTok influencer, has led workshops nationwide, and currently serves as an affiliated counselor at Grace CMA Church, cherishing her family and witnessing the transformation of those she helps.

Jake Furman

Jake is an ordained pastor with the C&MA and leads worship at his local church as well as various conferences and worship initiatives throughout the year. Passionate about establishing resting places for the Lord in his community and region, Jake is currently working together with his wife Caroline and their friends to establish houses of prayer that host the presence of God throughout the western PA area. Jake is also a songwriter and musician and has released multiple projects featuring various artists and friends. Considering himself a student of God’s presence, Jake believes there is always a deeper level of encounter with the Lord. Jake loves to walk alongside worship leaders, helping them discover and recover the joy of a Jesus-centered, Spirit-filled life and ministry.

Nathalie Alcime

Nathalie Alcime, a classically trained musician from Spring Valley, NY, has performed and ministered internationally in places such as Haiti, Japan, Italy, and the Dominican Republic. She holds a BM in Vocal Performance and graduate work, as well as a M.A.T degree in Elementary Education (General Edu). She combines her passion for music and teaching to engage and inspire students and leaders. A passionate lover of Jesus, Nathalie exemplifies her faith through her compassionate and empathetic approach to both the education field as an educator and as a Worship Ministry Director at a local church and neighboring communities.

Matt Cheung

Born in Lowell, MA, with roots in Hong Kong and Toisan, Matt spent most of his life on the East Coast. From a young age, he had a deep love for God, finding solace and joy through worship that lifted him from insecurities and filled him with God's overwhelming love. Having answered a call to serve in San Jose, CA after moving from Queens, NY with his family, Matt is passionate about helping others encounter God deeply and experience His incredible love.

Dr. Ronald J. Morrison

Ron Morrison is the founding and senior pastor of Hope Alliance Bible Church in Maple Heights (Cleveland), Ohio, which was planted in 1995. He and his wife, Anita, have been married since 1979. Ron served in the U.S. Army (1971–1973) and worked in a factory for 21 years before going into full-time ministry. Ron and Anita have spent time with Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) international workers in Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, and Brazil. Ron is also the president of the African American Association for C&MA licensed workers. Ron has served four terms on the Board of Directors, including four years as chairman. He earned his D.Min. from Alliance Theological Seminary, enjoys being an adjunct professor at various schools, and is a mentor for younger urban C&MA pastors.

Meg Morganstern

Meg Morganstern is a music teacher, worship leader, and licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) from Cleveland, Ohio. Meg began leading worship in 2010 and has served alongside teams with several local churches over the years. She opened a home studio in 2023 offering private piano and voice instruction, and she is passionate about helping her students build musical excellence across multiple genres. Meg studied speech therapy and music at Baldwin Wallace University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. She went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Syracuse University and currently

practices in the greater Cleveland area.
